i have 35k in chips in 10th with 35 people left 2k 4k blinds. i have 77 on bb 2 from bb double raises i call my bb with 77 he has 50k and in top 5. flop T92 rain. he bets 4k minimum i call. turn 4 still rainbowed i check, he bets 4k again min i put him all in. he calls has KTo i lose.

my thinking on the hand. if he had 33 55 66 i had him beat. if he had 88 he cant call all-in with T 9 on board. if he actually had a hand like 99 TT JJ QQ KK AA he woulda bet more then min on turn with that board. seeing how he played every other hand on the table. if he had an AK AQ AJ miss he obviously cant call turn bet either. only thing i can really lose to is a early position raise with AT or KT which was highly unlikely, but he had KTo.

was that a good play to go all in on turn?

reraise him on the flop to see where you're at. if he raises or calls and bets the turn, then fold.

the only way this all in is a better play than calling down is if he has 88. against any other hand moving in is the worst play.

so no, i dont believe it is at all. i prefer calling down
