How would you have played these hands? Some hands I won, some I lost, but even if I won I want to know if I played hand correctly or was my luck box working over-time.

I hope these are not too many hands (8) to post to get feedback... (at Kyro's advive I delete several hands, thanks Kyro)

Please use this quote in your reply to assist in evaluation:

Wayyyy too many hands. Just post a couple a day and hopefully learning how to play those will help you learn how to play others. Very few are going to take the time to critique 13 hands.

OKAY, MY COMMENTS MAKE NO SENSE BECAUSE YOU EDITED YOUR ORIGINAL POST. MY ANSWERS NO LONGER MATCH THE QUESTIONS...

1) Fold pre-flop. Q9 in the CO? Why are you limping after two limpers? Makes no sense.

2) Why did you call him down all the way? You had ace high. Don't overplay AK when the blinds are low.

3) I probably would've just folded preflop with 59s after one limper, but once you completed, I think your line looks fine.

4) I don't understand how you checked from the SB. If you were SB, I would've folded pre-flop.

5) Fold your AQ pre-flop here. UTG raised 43% of his stack. He is either a complete moron or has a monster and wants action. You still have over 11BB and don't need to get involved here.

6) This hand is interesting. I think that the case could actually be made for just completing with your 8s. You have zero FE against the 3 limpers, so you're guaranteed to be playing your pair of 8s against 3 other players. Of course you will be down to t275 (just under 2BB) so that might be stupid too. Just a thought, probably wrong on my part though. The math probably says just push and take your chances, but I've come back from 2BB many times, so???

7) I'd just push pre-flop. Some morons might fold.

8) Unless CO was a maniac, I'd fold pre-flop.

9) Good fold.

10) Looks fine.

11) Looks fine.

12) I probably would just push pre-flop. The blinds are huge and worth winning. Bet after he checks the flop. Once he bet the river, I'd call like you did.

13) Good push.

These are just IMHO. I'm no expert.

1- I fold Q9o preflop this early
2- Why call the river. You have nothing
3- I fold preflop
4- I agree. You saw the flop for free and have a decent draw.
5- Why risk half your stack on a coinflip here?
6- I agree
7- Fold preflop. I would never call or raise here
8- Fold preflop
9- I agree
10- I call here too. SB is desperate
11- I call as well
12- Why call?
13- I agree. KJ is strong here

General thought: most players at the 11s don't bluff nearly as much as you seem to think they do. Early on, at least, you mostly just want to bet when you have a hand, and let them pay you off when they've got second best (and don't worry, most of them will).

A couple of specific hands:

Hand 2: What do you gain by calling down with your unimproved AK? Has villain done anything to make you think he's betting out at every opportunity with *absolutely* nothing? All you have working for you here is folding equity, and you don't have any of that calling the hand down. If you're determined to keep going with the hand, re-raise the turn (and be prepared to fold to a 3-bet).

Hand 3: I realize it worked out for you, but why the push? With your stack at the size it is, any ace and any pair is going to call you, and you're way behind either. Even considering the blinds, I think your chances are better either pushing pre-flop and hoping for an unlikely but possible steal, or check/folding on the flop and pray for a better hand in the next 6 or so than a 6:1 or so gutshot draw.

Hand 12: Why not bet out (maybe 750?) after SB checks the flop? Would let you find out where you stand, might get you the pot right there. Your read indicates you think it might be a trap, but the worst that happens is that it costs you on the flop (if he re-raises) instead of on the river.

sorry - I did not even think anyone was going to take time to reply based on Kyro's response and I was happily surprised to see your response. I probably should have started a new thread w/ less questions and deleted current thread...
