I call the reraise, your initial call looked weak to me (you should have folded or raised). The reraiser is bottom stack and this looks like a good position for him push with a medium pair or some other semi-marginal holding. He's probably thinking you dont have QQ+ 'cause you would (should) have reraised the initial bet. if he has pair smaller than QQs you're about 50/50. If you win you're chip leader (i think). To me its a call, the only hands you'd hate to see are premium pairs and AK.

Thats my opinion ,if I'm talking nonsense (and i reckon there's a 70% chance of that), I'd like if some better players could correct my thinking.

I agree that he probably has a small/medium pair, which is why i wouldn't call. A 50/50 shot is not worth crippling myself with only 7 players left.

i would call if i knew he had a hand like 77. but it's wayyyy more likely that he has QQ+/AK than it is something like AJ/KQ, so you should fold.

Coincidentally, I was watching when this hand came up and my first thought was he was pulling the squeeze play especially since he came over the top with the huge bet so I was thinking he definitely had less than QQ and maybe a lot less, in which case, you're not too bad off. I had watched a few hands prior to this and he seemed pretty tight or at least reasonable and AQ isn't that great so I probably would have folded since you were in good shape but it may have been worth the gamble to shoot for first.

A few hands before this you reraised buckwonder all-in after he had made some aggressive plays the last few hands. i think the flop was something like J 9 6 and he made a big bet and folded to your all-in. Did you have anything? I was thinking reraise all-in as soon as he bet but its easier said than done so well done.

make the laydown and you can still do some damage in the tourney.....but gamble it up and you become chipleader with six players left or you become extreme shortstack with seven players.....all in all i say it was a good fold

Actually Franchise isn't the hero in this hand...but we had a debate about it. I thought rocky was a LAG and had made moves with junk, and given his image would've made the call against such a player based on previous reads. I was jwbirdman at the table and had seen some freakishly bad plays thus far and said I would've found it hard to give him credit for a big hand in an obvious play situation....but again, just depends on what kind of player you have him pegged for.

I would fold against a tight player, and call against an aggressive player (the kind that like to go all in at least once an orbit at final tables). Against a typical player folding isnt bad especially if you are happy moving up a few places.
