Anyone interested in playing a game of PBEM diplomacy?

Ideally need someone to GM too, since I want to play, but I'll suck it up and GM if I have to.

The 2+2 of the Diplomacy world, The Dipolmatic Pouch (http://www.diplom.org/index.py), has internet games run by bots.

Thanks - would you be interested in playing?

Now I can play, we'd be 2/7 of the way there if you are.

Not a lot of interest, I might have to go ask the psych people.

I've nevger played a game, but if someone's willing to send me a link to the rules, it sounds like a good game (a buddy gave me a run-down on it a while ago).

It's a great game, and your interest might take us to 4.

Best bet for you and else interested who hasn't played before is to go to the dip pouch (link earlier in the thread). It's the 2+2 of diplomacy, and you will get up to speed pretty quickly.

Don't make me go to the psych forum.

I've never played before and as long as it's not too time intensive I'm in.

I will join - it's been yrs since I did a PBEM game, but I'll do it - (and yah, we should investigate how to do it with the Robot Judges - I'm sure we could use one of theirs - )

played it in '98 and '99 online but I could never get into it enough to really kick ass -

OK, setting up a bot game definately looks do able. The problem is that the guy who sets things up has a lot of power.

I know I'm trustworthy, but it would probably be worth finding a non player (and I really want to play) to set the game up so you guys don't think online diplomacy is rigged.
