early with no reads in a PP 10/1

preflop and flop is simple but what about the river? the flat call on turn made me nervous because these tables are unpredictable so i didnt feel like putting more money into it on the river....

was this too passive ?

I'm seeing any two hearts, 9J-AJ and a lot of other weird hands. You beat most of these, why not give it another shot at the river?

Value bet the river. Checking here is really stupid.

This is a hard hand for me. It's rare for me to play low cards early in the game. Im usually going into flop with something good and my decisions to the river are clearcut.

Lately it seems like my game follows this predictable pattern where Im waiting around for a good hand in my position while the others battle it out with loose cards. Then Level 4 comes around and we all start stealing our way into the bubble where it gets trigger happy. There is very little play on the turn or river for that matter.

This may sound passive but i dont like flat calls on the turn, they make me nervous. I had a feeling i was beat and i was...he had a straight.

Be honest, is this a big leak for me ?

Did I not say "checking here is really stupid?"

Did you just think he had the straight, or did you have some kind exact read on this guy?

Without that read, you need to value bet this river, probably push it. You have two pair. Your opponents will show one pair here, over and over again. A nine or jack here is very, very likely. Also, him folding a busted draw is very likely. Having the turned straight is not likely at all.
