I'm just starting to get into PLO/8 and I'm still trying new things.

In this hand, I felt both MP2 and the button where on low draws or had very weak high hands. Generally, a .25 cent bet had previously represented a weak hand. If either player had reraised, I'd have more than happily laid this hand down on the flop or on the turn.

Obviously, I can't call much of a bet at all by the river.

Is this a good line to take or am I just asking to be taken to the cleaners with this hand?

I wouldn't pick this spot to push 2-pr aggressively, particularly at a full table. Two low cards on the board, and you don't even have top two, and they're not very high... too risky, because virtually any card that doesn't pair a 10 or 3 could easily kill your hand.

That being said, I think it's promising that you're experimenting with being aggressive and not finding ways to tighten down... IMO the game is tailored to favor aggressive players. So, it's the right general idea, just the wrong time.
