Thought I would post a few hands to make sure that I have not opened up some leaks in my game. I play the 10's and 20's at UB and have a slightly positive ROI. Trying to work my way up and improve my game.

This was the first hand of an UB $11 holdem SNG.

Nobody plays this hand in Level 1, Hand #1. At least not more than a couple of times until they learn the hard way...... I would consider limping with it if I was BB and folded around to me in Level 2 though.

Good fold and good luck on the tables.

KQs is a lot bigger than most of your opponents will be seeing flops with. Of course you call.

I figured that someone would admit that they play this. Obviously with 1500 chips and UB's slow blind increases you can play a few more hands.

My question is..
UTG ???

Not first hand UTG. In later position I'd play it though.

I definitely would avoid this hand UTG, even with the extra chips at UB.

If you know how to play it postflop, even limping it UTG isn't terrible, especially at the $11s. Once it's bumped to 100 though, I'm getting out. It's an easy limp from later positions.

Of course I imagine that I know how to play it post flop. Although I am trying to be consistent in order to assess my play over a large sample size I may start to loosen up my calling standards and try to build my stack by winning some chips post flop.

This forum is biased towards Party and therefore small stacks and ultra tight early play. UB ans stars allow for some post flop play. I think I have room to improve in that area.
