I went on to win the tournament, and figured it was this hand that put me in position to do so. I love the result, but I'm not sure if I made the right play because it was a bit risky. I'd have no shot if I lost this hand. For whatever reason I put him on a pair of 5's preflop. I figured if he had a big pair he'd slow play it slightly. The all-in preflop signified to me that he didn't want to see a flop, thus he had a pair, but a vulnerable one. Was this the correct move to call the all-in preflop with A9?

I agree with the other poster I would have moved all in preflop after his min-raise. Also if you put him on a lower pocket pair of course its a call. You are getting more than enough pot odds.
