great card for me on the turn, as soon as I bet I regretted it, what do you think?

Meh, checking again for the check-raise might be good on the turn, though it would suck to have a flush draw check for the free card. I bet here, and I think it's a good idea.

I think a flop raise of 300 to 350ish would have been better, because a 225 raise lays the odds too close for a flush draw (135:495).

If he covers and the good card hits he might be more pot committed an call a 2:1
