I'm down 10 buyins tonight (played 21 games, two first places, one third). I 3 table and have only played 84 tournies seriously since I started keeping track and reading this forum. I was a "30% ROI player" but my stats where killed today. These are insignificant numbers but show my commitment I guess.

I fear my problem might be over aggression, I went over all my hands and I actually have the inferior hand most of the times on the critical hands and not so many bad beats like I thought was the problem. I would really like comments on the general play. Some of the problems I think I see myself but I'm really doubting myself after this hit today.

I couldnt get hand converter to display this correctly whatever I tried. Any comments would be greatly appreciated!

Someone actually laughs here in the end, I had been extremely aggressive and I think that laughter was out of spite that someone finally (nearly) killed me.

My thinking was if I win this hand I'm good to go... Maybe I need to stop counting on coinflips to bring me forward.

I was going to put more hands but I think this is a good start. Thank you very much.

If the worst you ever do in a night is drop 10 buy-ins, you'll be just fine.

Hands 3 and 4 are good in the magical world of fold equity (well, 3 kinda sucks anyway since that's AA pretty often, but you get the point). You're in the $10's and have none, so don't try it.

hand 3 and hand 4 i fold nearly 100% of the time, if the big stacks have been aggressive i will fold hand 2 sometimes but its close/hand 1 is pretty standard.

As others pointed out, it might be a bit too early to assess that your game is off. Hand 4 is the only one I'm not wild about; for this to be a good play you need SB to fold reasonably often, but given the way tables seem to respond to you this doesn't seem too likely. Also, give the guy who told the BB or whoever to call you in hand 2 a hard time next time. He really has no business saying that.

Hand 1: Are you insane? Not pushing here would be horrible.

Hand 2: 3x BB? Getting called by J9s really sucks, so I don't push like a maniac L4-L5.... Don't think I can fold this though.

Hand 3: I don't being all-in with KQ. I don't like pushing where I have no FE. I certainly lay this down.

Hand 4: I think I safely fold with 10x BB here. In fact, unless you have a read on Villain, folding = correct.

And answers to your question:

Hand No. 1: Fine with me
Hand No. 2: Pretty standard
Hand No. 3: I always get a little worried when I see a mini-stack raising instead of pushing. I think you're way behind here, and I don't push it
Hand No. 4: Meh. Fold.

I think balance is the key to SNGs and poker in general. It is a fine one indeed. /images/graemlins/smile.gif
