UTG is a 46/1/2/wtsd 41/124 hands
MP is a 30/19/2/wtsd 41/measly 48 hands

Party Poker 10/20 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

Preflop: Hero is SB with T/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, T/images/graemlins/spade.gif.
UTG calls, <font color="#CC3333">MP raises</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, UTG calls, MP calls.

Flop: (10 SB) 4/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 7/images/graemlins/club.gif, 8/images/graemlins/heart.gif <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero caps</font>, UTG calls, MP calls.

Turn: (11 BB) 7/images/graemlins/diamond.gif <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, UTG calls, <font color="#CC3333">MP raises</font>, Hero calls, UTG calls.

River: (17 BB) 2/images/graemlins/spade.gif <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
Hero checks, UTG checks, <font color="#CC3333">MP bets</font>, Hero calls, UTG folds.

Final Pot: 19 BB

Im not sure how I would play this differently... I felt like something was a bit off when it went down.

On the flop UTGs raise could be anything, draw, pair, etc. MPs 3bet means a flush draw or pair+draw or anypair or any2pair or better. I didn't think he'd fail to 4bet a monster pf though... and he'd been known to bluff-raise me on the turn with JJ on a 2QA4r board.

I like it. At 10/20, I play this *exactly* the same way. Exactly.

i'd play it the same. the flop 3-bet does not mean you are behind, and you'd like to shut out UTG. I'd cap there. when you get raised onthe turn, well it looks like you are beat, but you cannot lay down. nh

f'ing sweet!

It does wonderful things for one's confidence to post a (semi) questionable hand and have 3 respected posters immediately agree with my line.

thx for the input guys.

Woohoo, I'm respected! /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I'm guessing you got toasted by JJ. Jerk didn't cap preflop like a good LAG.

But two high hearts or A8 or 99 will do this often enough that I think you need to call down on the turn.

if an 8 or a heart rivers, it's still just check call I take it ?

if an 8 or heart fell, could we lead out betting and fold to any raise on the river ? Same price, but more bets for us if we win.

If this is true then you played it perfectly, and what's more, nobody would play it any differently if they knew what you know.

If you hadn't included this paragraph, people would have told you the right play was "read dependent".

Isn't the forum great?

Guy.

I can't tell if you are being facetious... I think HUSH is really great! I posted the reads I had because those who are providing input should know what I knew...these guys were aggressive, and their raising standards were quite liberal.

Maybe I shouldn't have been so specific? Or the hand is boring?
