Quick 20/40 update

There's currently a $20/$40 on Party with $395 average pot. Also, some of the fish you guys are always mentioning by name have been seen more and more at the $20/$40s recently. I don't like to drop names myself, but you know who I'm talking about.

I probably shouldn't be encouraging you guys to move into "my" game, but since there has been some dispute over whether the games are good, and even some recent talk of stud dying, I couldn't resist.

I guess it all depends on what you mean by extreme fish. There are often one or two players who play too many hands and go too far, but most of them are at least somewhat tricky and fairly aggressive. Harder to play against than a calling station.

Now, yesterday there was a true calling station who was pretty much the ideal opponent. He would call all the way with most of his hands, but fold so often on 6th street or the river that you could profitably bet the whole way with almost anything (if you were lucky enough to get him headsup). He was coupled with a couple of the loose aggressives at the point when the pots were over $300, but they left later, when I finally got a seat at that table. It was still quite a nice afternoon /images/graemlins/wink.gif.

Yes. Though I still think it's better not to talk about specific opponents. If the other posters here can't figure out immediately who is bad they don't deserve that money. And while I haven't seen any mention yet, I'd be annoyed if people were mentioning my tendencies by screen name.
