People who leave their cell phone ringer on at work, the phone rings, and they don't answer it and don't shut the ringer off.

The woman in the office next to me has a phone that's been ringing all day - some stupid ringer-tune. So I asked her, "why don't you answer it?" She replies, "I don't want to talk to [that person]."

THEN WHY DON'T YOU SHUT THE [censored] THING OFF BEFORE I SHOVE IT UP YOUR ASS?

While we're on the topic of annoyances, have you ever left your bagel in the toaster too long and it gets all crusty. I hate it.

A kinder phrase would be..... SHUT THAT DAMN THING OFF BEFORE I STICK IT IN YOUR POOPER!

actually, most people have what I consider horrible cell phone manners.

1)The jackass in the restaurant who still has his ringer on so that everyone in there gets to listen to it...i don't mean Chili's eather, i'm talking Morton's steakhouse, or something similar. I feel everyone gets 1 free ring to remember "oops, i didn't turn my ringer off" at which point, they better turn it off. Better yet when they ANSWER it and then talk in that annoying ultra loud cell phone voice. I will actually say something to my wife in a really loud voice at my table so that the jackass clearly hears it...something similar to "I'm glad i had enough manners to turn my ringer off when I came in." My wife usually wants to craw in a hole after i say this, but the person gets the message and generally turns it off.

2) The person you are riding with in a car starts yakking on the cell phone so that you can't listen to the radio or have a conversation and you have to sit there like a moron. I never talk on the phone when other people are in the car with me unless it is to ask for directions or something.

3) Cell phone movie goer, nuff said.

while we are on the topic, what about the ass hole in the next cube who has to put all his conference calls on the speaker phone turned up so phucking loud that everyone in a 12 cube radius can hear his call perfectly.... not to mention the fact that when he talks, he has to shout.

Don't worry about me, I don't need to concentrate to work....phuckhead!

PS. sorry if this is a hijack

...and let's not forget the novelty rings. The insanely loud cackle. The "Hello? Are you there? Are you there?" And the fake female orgasm.

My ring tone is Chewbaca....is this an annoying novelty ring?

Probably. But it really depends on how loud, and how many times you let it ring w/o answering.

Contaminating my colleagues (another annoyance? sick workers who show up and share the wealth?).

Major deadline this week. Can't be helped.

ditto

but seriously, I went to see batman this weekend, I usually don't go opening week, but there was this guy who was YELLING at his kids teh whole movie, then IT happened

it wasn't a cell phone call, it was the walkie-talkie style phone "Hey, where yo at" BLEEP "I'm in da movie" BLEEP "you at da MOVIE?" BLEEP "Yeah, da movie, We'll talk later" BLEEP "How much longer till it done?" BLEEP "I don't know, I've never seen it before." BLEEP

this went on and on, I was about to go apeshit, if it wasn't the endo fhte movie I would have had him thrown out (as I used to work at this theatre and could have had the management toss him)
