do you ever try to push the guy out if you dont have a hand? playback in any way?

just wondering because I basically never do this. if i get 3-bet and my hand is marginal and i totally brick i just check and fold.

maybe a dumb post, i'm not sure, but I am attempting to find leaks so im starting with things i do all the time.

I generally behave myself unless it keeps happening

I have a midterm after work tomorrow, which should come as no surprise as I've posted non-stop for the last 9 hours

i like to cap liberally pre-flop but it is still maybe 20% of hands where i have been "caught" by the 3 bet and usually a dodgy non dominated hand - i mean if the SB 3 bets your open button raise with 65s then capping seems a plan to me - you are not losing a big amount on the equity of dodgy pre-flop hands and you are often gaining a significant tempo

my only problem with this is the hands they decide to 3-bet with are probably taking them to showdown. if you raise from the button and the SB 3-bets that's a lot different from what I was thinking he meant, which is you raise UTG and the button 3-bets

yeah - its obviously a better plan with position and also with the hint that it may not be a hand they intend to go to showdown with
