I like many of the ones suggested already, America, Cracklin Rose and Solitary Man in particular.

But one of my more favorite songs is Girl, You'll be a Woman Soon

When i was in elementary school I went to see Neil Diamond at Madison Square Garden with my grandma...I really thought she was gonna throw her panties on stage or something, she was smitten.

The live version of Solitary Man from Hot August Nights is my favorite, but I'm a cheeseball so I'll make a list...

2. I Am I Said (I gotta lip sync this one before I continue...OK)
3. Cherry Cherry
4. Girl You'll Be a Woman Soon
5. Cracklin Rosie

I can't stop...
I'll give my honorable mentions to I'm a Believer (the Monkees), You Don't Bring me Flowers, for pure schmaltz tear jerking effect, and Forever in Blue Jeans, just because that's the song that taught me that money talks, but it don't sing and dance, and it don't walk.

Red Red Wine.

I hated Neil Diamond for a long time because on car trips (3+ hours) to see our relatives, my parents would play his 12 Greatest Hits tape. Over and over and over and over. No tape changes. Just Side One, auto-reverse, Side Two, auto-reverse ...

Judging from my iTunes play count, mine is Cracklin' Rosie as well.

Most songs mentioned in this thread are awesome. But these two, mentioned together, really stand out.

Sweet Caroline, Fenway Park edition.

Some Sox fans hate this song but I always look forward to the bottom of the 8th.
