Is there anyway to avoid overlap 4 tabling without a 2001fp or similar model? I'm looking for a bit cheaper solution. Or if not, what is a good LCD to get to avoid overlap for 2 tabling? I'm looking for a monitor under 275 to get the best options for multing. Thanks as always guys!

You can get a CRT that you can 4-table without overlap for around $150. You just need the magic 1600x1200 resolution.

I think there's a poker site (maybe UB?) that allows you to shrink the table sizes down so that it can fit into a normal sized window without overlap. Otherwise, I think you should save your $275, and wait for a good 2001fp buy (think ebay ~ $475).

Pawn shops. Make sure you have a VERY sturdy desk. My drafting table desk bows under a 17" CRT.

I have a problem with table space so I was looking for a LCD. What resolution do you need to be able to 2 table without overlap?

1600 X 1200. You can look into refurbished models but I would seriously cosider giving up the deskspace and buying some CRTs. The Trinitons I use probably run $175 a piece at the most and do the trick very well.

Unfortunately the first resolution that lets you 2-table without overlap is 1600x1200, which lets you 4-table without overlap. There is no cheaper middle ground.

That said, in my experience, 2 tabling with overlap is barely bad at all, whereas >2 tabling with overlap is unpleasant.
