I have 77 UTG.
MP is a loose-passive player

I call, MP calls, SB calls, BB checks

Flop is JT5 rainbow.

SB checks, BB checks, I bet, MP calls, SB folds, BB folds.

Turn is a blank. I bet and MP calls.

River is an A. The board now is AJT with 2 blankds. I check, MP bets, I call

What do you think of...
a) my flop bet
b) my turn bet
c) my river call

I'm probably just check/folding the flop, here, and I definitely don't think you can call the river, in order for you to be ahead he'd have to be bluffing something like Q9 or K9, KQ got there, any ace got there, and he's loose passive, he could have called you down with a J or T.

check/calling here is the absalute worst thing you can do.. bet the river/fold to raise, or check fold... i dont see how you could have won this pot.. ceckraising the river might be the only way you win this pot.....

the flop bet is fine, usually I'd check/fold it though.

Once the LP calls the flop, I'm done w/ the hand. The only hand you beat here is KQ (well, maybe Q9 or 98) and he'll probably check behind on the turn with those and you can then reevaluate the river. But me thinks he has at least a T here and you're not getting it to fold..

as you played it, the river is a fold.
