Flop looks like a good place to raise.

You are way too passive.

I agree. A flop raise isn't going to protect your hand. I would've called and raised the turn when a blank comes.

A turn raise may even buy you a free showdown, should you wish to take one. I wouldn't though. What could BB possibly hold? He might've flopped a set, but he could have TT or even worse. He might have a lone J. By raising the turn you take control of the hand, and then i bet for value on the river when another blank comes.

Who are we protecting against?

BB being the likely bettor on the turn, we can't protect against UTG. SB probably isn't semi-bluffing a gutshot into this much preflop action. If we make it 3bets, we might get Button to fold a better hand (AA, KK) -- he should be the one to worry about.

No way to protect. Raise for value. Buy the button. Try to get preflop capper to fold a better hand.

This is never happening IMHO.

Exactly my line of thought, except that it would be extremly surprising that Button would fold AA/KK.

You need to raise this somewhere. I would raise the flop.

You capped preflop, and you're facing 3 bets to you... This is an easy call or cap for you? I probably wouldn't fold, but I would definitely consider it.

No, I would usually not fold, barring reads. But that is me/you/2+2 thinking. AA/KK as an overpair sees a showdown nearly everytime for everyone else, either because they're extremely LAG or because they only play JJ+ and AK and they can't bear to fold postflop.

Tough to read hands when everyone is in for the cap. BB's preflop show of strength was calling 3 cold.

I like the idea of a turn raise and call-down to a 3-bet.
