CO is about 25/15/2 with a steal % of about 30

Folded to CO who open raises. I am in the BB with A5s and call

Flop is something like T82, giving me a 4 to a flush draw

What do you think is the best way to play the hand from here?

First off, consider raising pre-flop.

Checkraise the flop and lead the turn. You should be doing this with your made hands as well so that he won't be sure if you are made or are drawing.

If he calls the turn, check/fold the river UI. Next time you have a strong made hand on a drawing board like this and you end up on the river, CR the river since he will think you were drawing like last time.

Then maybe change to check/call draw on the turn next time and CR a made hand on the turn after that. And maybe 1 out of 10 times CR the turn with a draw.

Anyway.. there is no fixed answer for this hand.. it depends on what has happened in previous steal/defense attempts.

I check called the flop and check raised the turn to make him fold a better hand. Any thoughts on that? Okay, it might get checked through on the turn, but this does not really harm me as I am drawing.
