Ya if I had to guess what type of music a 17yr guy listens to that would be it. Seems like a bunch of stuff that one would believe could be used to lay chicks. You'll fit in perfectly in college.

Over 4,800 songs on my iPod, and in the first seven of random I've had two artists appear twice! (U2, TMBG). 1 each from Prodigy, Gordon Gano and Mia Dyson.

I actually got into listening to jazz music when I took up swing dancing/lindy hop a few years ago, so it's the New Orleans and Swing era stuff that dominates my taste in jazz. The fact that My Favorite Things is one of the most played on my playlist, in spite of being completely un-dance-able, is a testament to how good it is. I smiled big when that one showed up at the top.

Dude, I have a little over 15k songs and I haven't listened to a decent amount. What the hell are you doing with a 30k+ collection?

[/ QUOTE ]

Well, it needs to cover a fairly wide variety of music. And some of it's 8-9 years old. I've listened to most of it, but there's a fair amount that hasn't been played in at least 2-3 years. I like a lot of music, and I also like being able to discover something new that I picked up on a recommendation a year or two back.

From time to time, I'll just throw everything in a big playlist and shuffle through it. (Which is why I had the 31.5K song list handy...it's actually missing another 1K or so.) It's like listening to a very eclectic radio station, except that I like everything that comes on. There's something nice about not having to search through my music for something I want to listen to Right Now - rather just having winamp pick it for me.

Uh, FYI, Carry On My Wayward Son is by Kansas, not Boston. The song is worthy of a whole state.

Same kansas that has "Dust in the Wind"? That song owns.

Necro - Dead Body Disposal

[/ QUOTE ]

10 Kingpimp Commandments is his best song. His latest CD is quite inferior to the rest.

Edit- I don't own any Necro CDs but have extensively listened to him on trips this year at school.

i've listened to a fair bit of him, i think my favorite song is probably i need drugs, i listened to that [censored] for days
