2 hands of not from last night. Both 50+5 SNG in the first level.
First hand I have JJ in the BB. THere are five limpers. So i raise 175. I get 3 callers. The flop is A J Q with two spades. Im first to act so i go all in. I get 2 callers both on a flush draw. That to my amazement hits. I lose with my set. The second hand is more interesting. I have AA in the small blind. There are 4 limpers. I raise to 150 and get 4 callers! The flop is A 2 5 rainbow. I hit top set. I check and MP+1 bets 300 followed by an all in. I go all in and so does MP+1. My set is good. My question is play at this time this crazy? It is unthinkable to me to get 5 callers on a preflop raise of 150+ in the first level. And to get 3 people all in on the flop? Is it really this easy at that time? Or was it just random.

Not all of them. I have found 55s after midnight to be dry and tight.
You can find a loose game at any time of day, just a matter of how easy it is to find.

I hope they are like this. My few 55s played were all between about 4-8pm and they were very different from what you described above.

I might have to start playing after midnight.

I concur I always play 50+5 or higher and never ever where they like this. These two played like the free tournaments for fake money it was unbelievable. I also played a few more that were likewise very loose. Made the money 4 times which isnt all that impressive out of 6 . But it was the easiest and shortest game ive played it was like a shootout.

Normally wouldnt but i was piss drunk. Went out for a friends birthday. Tell you the truth i was lucky the tables were this soft at this time. i was gone havent felt like that in years. But even a fool can win with good cards. I suspect I wasnt the only one drunk by the number of calls. It felt like a .1 .25 NL home game. But to answer your question it was bad judgement in two respects, first i shouldnt have played as i was DUI and second i shouldnt have played that hand. Hey raptor what casino should i check out im going to Vegas next wenesday any advice on good games?

The second hand is more interesting.

Unfortunately, I'd say both hands are extremely uninteresting. I guess if you instead posted:

I had 32o UTG and folded....everyone else calls and the flop comes 332. OMG?!! Then half the table goes allin with random pps....OMGx3!?!?! [insert dumb Q] [insert less interesting Q] [insert another Q for no reason].

[/ QUOTE ]

Then it would possibly be less interesting.

what is daliman, buttons, nuttom doing here? There's so many dead chips here, why not try to pick up the chips in the pot? There's three limpers that's kind of weak, this is a tournament?

if you have a strong hand late, why wouldn't you raise?

If you want the dead chips in the pot, go all in.
