I liked it when I was in college 12 years ago. Now I can't stand Corgan's voice or Corgan himself.

Wow. What took you so long? This is the best album (at least top 3) of the 90's and it still measures up favorably today.

Gish was better.

I bet you think Bleach was better than Nevermind too, eh? Stfu, Gish was not better, I own both and Siamese Dream was way more awesome and groundbreaking. However, SP is weak now.

I'd go along with you if you said MCIS, but Gish was their 2nd-worst album. That said, even 2nd-worst is a pretty damned good album from the Pumpkins.

Man, I'm attracting the haters today. I like Gish better. It's raw.

Bleach can't hold a candle to Nevermind.

Nothing's shocking is much better than Ritual de lo habitual

Pork Soda is better than Sailing the Seas of Cheese (though this is close).

s-ing tfu now.

I won't fault you for liking Gish. It's a great album.

Billy Corgan has a solo album coming out today actually. I think it is called The Future Embrace. I am definetly going to check it out.

That reminds me. I TiVo'd Letterman last night to see his performance. I'll watch it when I get back from Chipotle (http://www.chipotle.com/email/05-090/soulstice.htm). I'll probably go pick up the album some time this week. I'm not terribly excited for it, but the guy's a genius.

Did anyone here ever get into Zwan?

Damn, I didn't even know he was on Letterman. I bought the Zwan disk but never listened to it enough to get to into it.

yeah, but for some reason the end of his career has made me absolutely hate hearing his voice. gish was great, sd was great, mcis was half and half, adore is half and half. . . then the mnagic fully ended

The rest of the Pumpkins' albums, as well as all Radiohead albums. That's a good start.

They played out the main songs(Disarm, Today, Cherub Rock) on the radio back in it's day, but Mayonnaise, Soma, and Hummer are awesome gems that never got radio play-time. Definitely one of the best albums of the 90s(Pearl Jam's Ten also up there).
