$55 bubble hand that makes my head hurt....

One villain is tight, other 2 are loose passive. I have not been stealing because they were calling almost every PF bet. I had KK last hand, but amazingly got no action. Anyway, SGA has this as "too close to call," but I am thinking I should push and pray.

My FE is evaporating, I am outchipped by 4x and the blinds are nearly on me. Ugh.

The converter has you in BB. Which stacks are where? Not that this matters a lot, but it does a little.

I would probably push this and pray...not the best scenario obviously; you're getting called only by hands that beat you.

I think this is the best stack arrangement for the push...you have the stack with most to lose in the BB and his calling range will be highest.

Would you advocate a limp and go, or a straight push?

You desperately need a double up. Just push and pray. You may get them all to fold. You may get called by one opponent and suck out on a better hand. You may get called by an opponent with something like QJ and actually be in the lead. Limping will just invite them all to call and bust you.

OK, so this brings me back to the KK hand. I pushed it, hoping it would look like a desperation steal. Unfortunately, everyone folded. (And sadly, I didn't show it.)

Given my stack size, I should be looking to double up with KK... Does this warrant a limp, in the hopes that someone sees the flop and catches a small piece of it?

big stack wants you to stick around awhile. so he can beat up on all three of you.
all you fear is an Ace, and coming from under the gun, I think they don't call you with a little Ace...

Have you ever done it with trash?
I've wondered if a min raise with a 4BB stack would get more respect from a thinking BB player than an outright push, but I haven't given this a whole lot of thought.

If you are going to play this hand at all, a straight push is the only way to go. A limp and go with 150 blinds just invites the other stacks to call behind cheaply to see a flop...if anyone catches anything, you will not have any FE to chase them out.

This, IMO, is a perfect example of a push/fold scenario...there is no room for creative play here.

Using the KK hand to justify limping here is VERY bad logic...you dont have KK here...if you did, then there might be some room for debate...but there isnt because you have K6...playing a monster like you dont want a call (pushing) can be good...but it didnt work, so what? The worst thing to do though is play a weak hand like a monster when you have no equity post flop.

Whether or not I would push with KK would depend on several things. How often have I been pushing? How does my stack size compare to my opponents and the blinds? If I've pushed several times I would think my opponents would get tired and be ready to call me. So I would push. I get the feeling that you haven't been pushing so if this is the very first time, your opponents are more likely to fold giving you credit for a big hand.

This is sometimes true, but its not true here where a shortstack is UTG...The BB is about to shave off a huge portion of his stack and his raise/push SHOULD be perceived as desperate. Most players wont respect this anymore than a positional steal.

Very perceptive. This is exactly what happened, IMO. If you have a few mins, I would love it if someone could check out this final portion of the HH... Are there any blatantly obvious stealing opportunities? I think I may be overcompensating (playing scared) at the 55s.

Also as stated in the original post, there is no reason to be "UPSET" that you only have 800 chips on the bubble with blinds of 75-150. Sometimes this will happen and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it. You can't control everything and to be upset about something like this is just silly IMO.

Sometimes you will get to the bubble short of chips, sometimes you will hvae a huge stack and sometimes you will be eliminated in 10th place. You don't have as much control as you might think where you can expect to never be in unpleasant situations.
