Solid reads on both Villians. They are loose (the 40%+ variety) and play poorly post-flop (i.e. fold too much, don't value bet, etc, etc...). Blinds are tight and I'm 80% certain that my isolation of the 2 limpers will succeed.

You really are one handsome man. I don't think there's anything wrong with this. If they're playing 40% of their hands, you're very well might have the best hand here. Then you can pwn then postflop.

Since they're around 40%, that means they probably play any PP, any cards over 8 or 9, and probably many suiteds. Given that the blinds are tight and won't wise up to your plan, I like it, but if there's a TAG sitting there, you may find yourself 3-bet (I'm sure this isn't the case because you're confident in your iso situation.)

Q10o is a little marginal, but I think that this play has +EV in the long run since you play well postflop and they do not.

Are these opponents weak-tight post-flop?

This is good only because the blinds are tight, folding would suck but so does QTo so you might as well get it as shorthanded as possible.

So they check call or check fold.

I never said they were weak. I said they play poorly - which means predictable. They will occasionally lead an ace into a PFR. If they check/call - I'm checking behind on the turn UI and I just saw all 5 cards for 3SBs.

One question, though, and sorry for the thread hijack, although I think you know this play is okay and wanted to spark some further discussion on the topic.

What number of opponents is your cutoff for "isolating?"

In other words, your opponents are clowns, and because they are clowns, you want to play pots against them. In this hand, with your only two opponents being poor players, you raise to knock out the blinds and play against only the poor players. But what would you do with three bad limpers to your QTo on the button? Four bad limpers? Five?

There has to be a point where putting in an extra SB isn't worth it and you should just limp (I'm not folding QTo with position on bad players), right?

2 is probably my limit. At 3-limpers I'm just going to call with my guaranteed position, hope that the blinds come along and try to outflop the field using my position to extract the maximum # of bets.
