Ultimate Bet 0.25/0.50 Hold'em (10 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

Only been at table 15 hands, but villian seems typical loose/passive. Whole table fishy.
Preflop: Hero is UTG+2 with 6/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 6/images/graemlins/club.gif.
UTG+1 calls, Hero calls, 4 folds, Button calls, 1 fold, BB :#A500AF(villian)/ checks.

Flop: (4.40 SB) 8/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 6/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 2/images/graemlins/heart.gif (5 players)
villian checks, UTG bets, UTG+1 folds, Hero calls, Button calls, villian calls.

Yes! Finally flopped a set! Smooth call, C/R later

Turn: (4.20 BB) 5/images/graemlins/spade.gif (4 players)
villian checks, UTG bets, Hero raises, Button calls, villian 3-bets, UTG calls, Hero calls, Button calls.

3-bet?!? OK, slow played big pair? OESD? Call and see if river is scary.

River: (16.20 BB) J/images/graemlins/club.gif (4 players)
villian bets, UTG calls, Hero ????

WTF? This guy can't have 7-9. Now what?

Final Pot: 20.20 BB

As I punched my decision, I realized villian was BB and could have anything, including the st8. How do you evaluate what is basically a random hand from the BB when he's able to check PF?

Raise flop. This one isn't close.

Yeah, if you had 55 and the flop was K52r, then you could slowplay.

But you need to identify which flop textures are draw happy and make value raises where you can. You are missing bets here.

And, in doing so, you let hands like straight and flush draws draw VERY cheply when factoring implied odds.

Raise the flop. This fixes so many of your problems.

I'd say it's close. The pot is small.

depends on how bad the players are (in general, at 0.25/0.50 they are bad enough that you should raise the flop). a lot of players will coldcall with gutshots, overcards with a heart, any pair, and other unimaginable things.

I always raise the flopped set on a draw happy board. I think the hand plays different with that happnin.

Call the river and curse your bad slowplay.
