neteller give away cash every month. to sign up you need an account and neteller points which im not sure how to get.

anyway today i signed up for the weekly draw for 500$ cash. it cost 1k in points and there were 13005 entrants and i think this gave the biggest payout/odds. anyone know how to calculate this or if i was right?

Ok,

let's assume there are no more entries and all 3 draws are done today - Assuming you'd be spending 5000 points (5 weeklys, 2 bi-weeklys or 1 monthly) approximate EV of each of the draws is:
monthly: 1/116k * $3000 approx 25cents
biweekly: 2/41k * $1000 approx 5cents
weekly: 5/13k * $500 approx 19cents

I recall doing this calculation a while back and it was roughly a toss-up between monthly and weekly - i always buy the weeklys though - because i really really want to win, even if it's just $500.

I agree with your calculation except I think you missed a zero on the Monthly, it should be 2.5 cents, not 25 cents.
