i'm using aleo's spreadsheet to keep track of my results, but i don't time my SNGs, so i'm not really sure what to put in the duration field to give a decent approximation of my $/hr. i'm looking for the average time actually spent playing the SNGs, so the times when you bust out after the first 5 minutes should bring the average down.

i'm playing the $22s, for what it's worth.

An average SNG takes approx 35-40 min. I dont kno how the new blind structure though will effect that.

My spreadsheet says 27 minutes. That's autoimported data from Poker Tracker.

At UB with the higher stacks and long levels, my average is about 40 minutes which includes the last place quickies and the 90 minute-plus marathon sessions.

I believe the 27 minutes is your average, not the table average. So if your average finish is 4.##, the actual average for a STT is more like 48 minutes.

My AM spreadsheet shows I average 39 minutes at the 100s. Some of the times are off a little so its probably a little longer but not much. I don't know how much the new level has changed things, but I haven't noticed a big change in my numbers although obviously my sample size is pretty small.

It also depends on when you start a tournament as starting. I dont auto import, just use Aleo's little button that says start recording Sngs. Anyway, I do that right after I sit down, b/c to me, thats the actual start of the tournament.

As a result, at the $50s, Im averaging about 43 minutes per tournament.

From some data I've been collecting...

~30 Hour Sample Party SNG Data (http://wooleyrhino.com/partyinfo/AvgSNGTimeSample.html)

Collection method is a work in progress but I think this is fairly accurate.

yeah, but personal average is what decides $$/hr, assuming the OP plays continuously. If he plays in sets, then table average is probably a better number.

How are you guys keeping track?

I don't see how you can be averaging 33 & 27 minutes and be ITM more than 10% of the time.

I play the $50s, and before the blind change was averaging close to 45 minutes. I suspect that I'd now be averaging closer to 50.

Me no understand.

With the new blind structure, my average game that I make the final 2 is averaging a whopping 52 minutes.

I don't understand these numbers either.

I just figured the OP wanted an average number of table-hours per tournament. If you're really into seeing how long the entire tournament lasts, you can make a cell in an SNG tab looking something like
=sumif($F$13:$F$1012,1,$G$3:$G$1012)/countif($F$13:$F$1012,1)

I average 42.4 minutes when I finish 1st or 2nd.
