Opponent on turn is donk who recently called a 125 raise at lvl 1 preflop with K7s, and called a 150 chip bet on the flop when the flop was AKrag. In other words, I am trying to get a call here.

There's t300 in the pot, you've only got t660 behind with a scary board. I like the push.

Are most people raising this preflop or only AA/KK/QQ?

Also, with medium pairs and AJ+ are you raising first in near button in levels 1-2?

your usually correct.. but this time... your correct. you have 600 chips with a pot of 300 so why raise 200 and let them draw push. very good

LVL 1 and 2 I only raise AA, KK and QQ and I fold AJ.

AK is an easy raise to me. AJ at this levels I would limp to try to get a flop cheaply. If there's much action I can fold. Same with medium pairs on early position (at this levels)There will probably have a lot of callers there.

I would bet 250 on the turn and my last 350 on the river.

There's obviously nothing wrong with raising AK...I like limping though for deceptive purposes and because I don't like to bleed chips early on in the tourney. I think this is just a matter of personal preference.

However, what happens if some donk pushes after you reraise with AK? You are going to have to fold that hand early on (no coinflips at lvl 1-3) when you could have seen a flop for just calling.

AJ is crap LVL 1-3. Are you willing to put all your chips in the middle with AJ at LVL1 if an Ace flops?

There are tons of people (like me) who limp with AQ and AK at lvl 1 and 2 and one of my most profitable situations is flopping an ace and taking money from AX (usually A5 or something but sometimes AJ).
