View Full Version : Coke vs. Pepsi

Do you like one so much more than the other that you would rather drink something else instead of the cola you don't like? Or are you basically indifferent between the 2 even though you like one a little better than the other?

I think restaurants basically assume the latter.

Coke is far superior IMO. I hate that most restaurants and such assume that it doesn't really matter like you said.

I too hate it. If a resturant does not serve Coke or Bass Ale, I'm not eating there, chances are their food isn't going to be great.

I like Coke better too. I just wonder if there are people who, say, wouldn't eat at Taco Bell just because they only have Pepsi.

I wouldn't eat at Taco Bell because their food sucks. But to answer your original question, if a place only has Pepsi, I'm drinking water even if I'm in the mood for cola. Pepsi is too sweet.

Coke is great when it's out of a fountain. It's alot more sweet and has a less burning sensation.

I dont drink soda much, so personally I dont care, however..

Coke is waaay better than pepsi. If I have a soda craving at a restraunt, I will drink coke. If all they have is pepsi, I suddenly lose my craving.

Whats even worse than places that only sell pepsi rather than coke, is the places that think Mr.Pibb is any sort of substitute at all for Dr.Pepper. Dr.P is the [censored] [censored] and is like sex in a can. Mr.Pibb isnt even close enough in taste to be a retarded red headed distant bastard cousin.

Me: "I'll have a Dr.Pepprer"
Moron: "We have Mr.Pibb, thats still ok isnt it?"
Me: "Are you [censored] retarded?? Still ok?? the [censored] outta my face right now before I bitch slap your stupid ass"

the difference of coke v. pepsi is greatly exagerrated in bourbon & cola's or any drink that requires a cola.

Coke uses vanilla favouring in the their cola which accounts for the difference in taste of the cola when drank with bourbon as bourbon/whiskey's have a touch of vanilla in the drink making coke the superior complement.
