I am looking to buy a laptop that will be able to handle pokertracker, poker-edge, PV, 2 sites with 6 tables total. I am interested in the Dell Inspiron, and I have a question about the processors. How do the M processors compare to the pentium ones? Are they as powerful. How powerful should the one I get be to handle all the programs without stalling?

Also, how many mb's should the videocard be?

Thanks!!!

WUXGA (1920x1200) screen should be your first priority.

poker apps use next to no video memory. i would think you would be fine with a 64MB video card and 128 would be way more then enough. if you arnt doing any serious gaming, there is no need to spend a bunch on a vid card.

If you travel a lot and want durability to withstand accidents, then the IBM Thinkpad line can't seem to be beat. Also you might surf over to PC Magazine's website as they have a guide to notebooks.
