Mobile Phone Service

Ok, so I am deciding on a new mobile phone service. I had Verizon when I was working, and I liked that and was pretty pleased with the reception. I did some comparisons though, and T-Mobile seems to have the best deal. Cingular and Verizon were comparable. What is your vote for best cell phone service?

a lot depends on where you live. The cheapest plan doesnt mean jack if you dont get service in your house

Well, I live in the Bay Area and I know that Verizon gets reception here (and in my house), but I'm wondering if there's better (or equal, with a better deal like T-Mobile)...

all my friends have VZW and their service is great. former 4 year TMO contact holder
