raise about 100, amillacan on the short stack will push, Sylvest will fold and you will call.

If Sylvest pushes over, he is trying to shut you out, thus you are good. If he calls, you are probably in trouble.

I think 200-225 would be good here. About the size of the pot and you have a healthy stack left if they both call. Under the very rare circumstances where you don't make a flop (an Ace flops and they both go all-in or something) then you can get out with a good chunk of chips.

Yeah, that 200-225 raise gives the short stack a chance to push and you can call him. If the other guy calls the push, I would try to check down unless the flop came about 9 high (or this is one of those times you should probably Prophecy his numbers).

I wouldn't necessarily give the other player a lot of credit for calling the smallstack push, there are still a lot of donks at the 33s.

Are you agreeing with me or gildwulf? I'm saying raise about 100, to about 175 or maybe to 200 and I think he was saying raise 200-225 to about 300.

I'm thinking the smaller raise makes it more likely for the short stack to come over the top.

Raise to 250 to shut out Sylvest. Seriously, lots of people will call short stack raises, especially 2.5BB raises. Then call the shortie's push.
