I am newish to live play....please dont flame me if this is completely normal. Anyways...4-8 kill game in the middle of the desert.

I am in the BB with 75o and check after three limpers and the SB. Flop comes down Jh7c5h. SB checks, I bet, call, fold, call, call. Turn is an off suit 3. SB checks, I bet, call, call,...Dealer flips up the 2 of spades for the river card. The player on the button hadnt closed the action on the turn though so the dealer told us that she had to reshuffle the deck and then re-deal the river. Floorperson comes over and agrees. This was a friendly game so I agree with the action being taken. The new river is a 9 of spades. I bet, I am raised, I call and I am shown 86o. No big deal really except that the first time the river was turned I would have won. I didnt make a big deal out of it but I still kinda wanna know if I got screwed...?> did I?

Yep, that's standard. Irritating when it costs you a pot, but there's really not much else they can do.
