I am, along with another 2+2 poster and some mutual friends. We have a big-ass tent and plan to bring a poker table.

The weather looks attrocious. Really sucks when muddy and raining, you can't move from stage to stage so easily and it is tiring and wet. /images/graemlins/mad.gif Still wish I was there though.

Funny that you mention it as I was just listening to Way Out West live at Glastonbury (June '04). Is it just some big rave or is it a huge concert with some techno side stages? Either way it sounds like an awesome time.

Big massive 200 acre farm (cleared of livestock for the festival). 3 days of music, 12 stages + comedy tent, circus etc.

(Almost) Everyone who goes camps out for the duration and raves takes place during the night (though I found watching music all day and tredging around in mud too tiring - straight off to bed for me).

Start has been delayed because the 3 main stages have been struck by lightning. Water up to at least the ankle. Some people have already left (before the music even started) because their tents have been completely flooded and they can't buy any new ones.

Ouch.

Last few days have been glorious too, raining up here today also. Meh.

1.09 available (Betfair) about rain at Wimbledon before the end of the tournament, although I just took some of it.
Sorry to post about gambling in OOT but some of the Englishies will probably like that bet. (And I never usually bet odds on)

You can catch lots of Glastonbury online

Not sure if you get this outside the UK. Might be some other sights available too.

Anyone going to Live 8 London? Anyone selling a ticket? I promised myself in 1994 I would never miss another Pink Floyd concert, should there ever be one again. I can't let this opportunity pass me by...

Doves were good and The Killers looked fantastic, but I couldn't see why Bloc Party are so hyped /images/graemlins/confused.gif
