I love this play. I just hate who you chose to do it on. BB's holdings are significantly more random than any other player's and therefore scarier for a play like this.

I find this play works better when someone with no money invested calls the PF raise so you can safely put him on two overs or a smaller PP.

P.S. - The min-raise on the turn scares me.

Has big stack been somewhat aggressive? I like checking the flop better if that's the case. Since I'm frequently firing out when I miss here, I like to fire out at least some of the time when I'm ahead as well. I guess it's nice to try and give him a card to let him catch up so you can extract on later streets, but I'm not sure this is a typical way ahead/way behind scenario because there's a wide range (TT-KK, at least) of conceivable second-best hands he could call with.

I probably bet a little bit more on the turn, I think your line from the turn on is fine though.

954 isn't quite the flop I want for this. 944 or 952 would be perfect.

The turn is either a full, A4s or a frisky 77, so nice calldown.

He had J7o. Unfortunately, raising the river is suicide, as you guys correctly pointed out. I bet around 1/2 pot most of the time on the turn so I'm ok with that, but I guess I could have bet more.

Man these 109s are tough! /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Incidentally, at the low levels, I really like the minraise bluff when the board pairs like that, particularly when he gets to lead the river. It works quite often because it's a relatively common way to play trips at that level. The wisdom of the move against an UTG raiser in the 100s is questionable, but hey, nobody's perfect.
