BB in this hand is pretty aggressive pre flop. Plays 25% of his hands and brings in 20% of them for a raise.

I believe that he will lead the flop and turn w/ any hand that he caps pre flop.

Party 20/40 (9 handed)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 9d, 9s.
2 folds, MP1 raises, 3 folds, Hero 3-bets, 1 fold, BB caps, MP1 calls, Hero calls.

Flop: (12.50 SB) 6c, Qd, 6h (3 players)
BB bets, MP1 folds, Hero calls.

Turn: (7.25 BB) 2d (2 players)
BB bets, Hero raises, BB calls.

River: (11.25 BB) 7s (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks.

What do you do if he calls your raise and bets the river?

If you're folding to a river bet, then couldn't your opponent just stop and go you with AK some of the time in a 11BB pot and take it away from you? I think you have to call a river bet, which is why I would just call down. He's bluffing the river with pretty much any two cards he's capping preflop there (assuming you just call him), so don't give him a chance to fold you out with a three-bet or donkbet bluff, just call him twice, since you're willing to put in two bets anyways.

Edit: I'd probably fold to a river A or K. But that's based on read, it still might warrant a calldown.

vs an aggro opponent like this I would call-call-call

AK and lots of other hands we want out will fold to the turn raise sometimes, which is very good. I highly doubt he pulls a stop and go with Ace high here. I think this is a perfect spot to raise for a free showdown.

I play it the same. However i usually always get shown the goods and wonder if i was correct to assume AK would bet the turn.
