This was a tough decision for me. Nothing unusual at the table prior to this hand.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t150 (5 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

SB (t1547)
BB (t2815)
UTG (t1098)
MP (t1585)
Hero (t2955)

Preflop: Hero is Button with K/images/graemlins/spade.gif, A/images/graemlins/heart.gif.

Your tournament standing dictates that you walk away from this hand. If you were one of the middle stacks calling would be entirely reasonable.

i call, but i play to win. i doubt he is doing this with AA or KK.

I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you. But the object isn't "to win" per se, it's to make the decision that's most profitable.

I think that I'm looser than a lot of players in this type of situation and I fold here after much swearing. Maybe this is an easier call at the $200s then my lowly $50s though bcause of higher aggression? If the BB is a known good player maybe I can call this but seeing 66 flipped over and hold up is going to make me feel stupid.

Im not a good player, but I call here. I think most of the time you will be ahead vs. AQ, AJ, A10, KQ type of hands. At worst Its a coin flip.

If you think you have a good chance attacking the other stacks this would be a reluctant but clear fold.

He probably has JJ or something like that.

If those are in the range of a pusher, then it is an insta call. I think any decent player (and I will assume an unknown 215 is reasonable) will have a much tigher range...

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if BB had A2 or even something like KQ since your raise was on the button. Based on hand value alone, AK could most likely be ahead here, but this situation shouldn't just be judged by hand strength.

If the BB is a skilled, tricky player... then this really seems like a re-steal to me. Even though you weren't stealing, the BB knows that you can raise with pretty much anything on the button, but can really only call his all-in reraise with QQ, KK, or AA.

That being said... I still admit I don't know what the right move is. What does ICM say?

If the BB is any good at all you are well over 60% against his range.

he is re-stealing with a lot of hands you crush or a coin flip with. i call.
