I've missed you.

Notable all-ins that I've lost today:
JJ vs. A4
AK vs. KQ
AK vs. A6
88 vs. 77
A8 vs. J5
AT vs. 78

On the upside, I am making very good decisions, which I feel good about. Sorry for the bad beat(s) post, I think I make enough good posts on here to deserve one of these every once in a while.

In other news, I blame this entirely on the new level of blinds. /images/graemlins/mad.gif

I hear you man. In my last 3 SNGs my KK lost to QQ, I lost JJ to K4o (pushing on bubble in SB) and Q7 to T7 was the final kick in the pants (I was in the SB with 1BB left).

I think I have you beat...
AA vs. KJ
AA vs. Q4
AA vs. KJ
AA vs. A4

All of those going to the river with them drawing to 5 outs...Here the other ones I am used to...

QT vs. Q5
AK vs. A3
KK vs. AQ

and probably a few more, as I have lost 9 in a row...I guess I just suck at poker.

Sounds like someone's got a case of the Mondays.

If all those are from today, then I guess I'm running good. /images/graemlins/smirk.gif Nothing like waking up and dropping 10 buy-ins is there?

It makes me want to slip my wrists...The good part is I have had AA 9 times in 14 games...the bad part is that it lost 7 out of 9 times.

I recently posetd 25 OOTM and a 30 buy-in drop. Until you can post that, this is weak!

Oh yea...well...I spent my whole BR on crack...and then my aces lost infinity times...so there.

True... I did take one third place so far today so got that going for me at least.

Wow...after looking over my results of the last 3 months, I have lost a large number of buyins on 9 out of 12 saturdays. I guess I just found my new off day.

You get 1 bad beat post when you make pooh bah. You've got another 1200 or so posts to go. Even if you make 10,000 great posts on here, that will still not come close to justifying the inclusion of A8 vs. J5 and AT vs. 78 in a bad beat post. Come on.

Fiery, I know you and I both play the same limits, and I find that my results are poor for saturdays as well. Also Friday nights. I am unsure if this is due to variance, or perhaps people are worse, and call more often so pushing with margainal hands should be done slightly less often? Perhaps it's due to a combination of more calling thus higher variance? I have been trying to figure this out, but refuse to not play weekends as the players are generally worse.

I think the key to making it on the weekends or even night time on the week days is playing the "bad" cards in the early levels and doubling up so you dont have to push with 98 or worse hands later on. I have been told by 2 people that I am not near as good aganist "bad" player simply because I am too agro. I seriously think I am going to stop playing on saturday for about a month and see what happens, even though this is not how I would like to solve the problem.

Yeah, I'm noticing you get a ton of spite calls. I think it's a combo from playing low limits (I play the 11s) and bad weekend players who don't seem to understand the consequences of losing a big hand on the bubble. Ah well... I recently had a streak of 22 ITM out of 30 tourneys. I shouldn't complain.
