Reggaeton - WTF?!?!?

what is reggaeton and why is it so damn popular...I like the hip hop but i dont get this. It just sounds like a real fast spanish lesson with some english thrown in to throw you off...

does anyone like this music?
if so, is there any group worth listening to?
i wouldnt mind listening to some decent tracks...
