Poker Stars 10+1. SB had pushed in the hand before when when he was BB and SB that hand folded. He then showed his 23o. Is this a standard call for you?

Yes your hand is too good, the pot odds you are getting are too much to refuse, and your opponents pushing range will be too wide.

What if hero has t900 after posting blinds, then what?

I'd probably fold against typical low limit player with 900....with 700 I think I'd call.

btw I thought you meant that the pusher has 900. If hero has 900 I would call anyway. As long as the SB has just 550 or whatever they have, Im calling here regardless of my stack size.

Interesting, good to know. I have been folding here a lot when I should be calling, then. You recommend calling with any > 50 % hand?

*in the dark, critique welcome*
Seems like an intuition-based decision here. Without any more read on the player, and since I would normally call w/ a K in BB against this kind of bet, I would make the call even though it is harder because it is natural to suspect that he does have a good hand because of how he flashed his garbage cards the hand before. I try to ignore whatever cards someone flashes and make the normal play that I always would to negate their strategy by showing their cards.

I made the call here and he showed A7o. However, My K2o was too much for him as I hit a 2 on the flop. I just wanted to make sure this was standard for the rest of you. Thanks for your replys.
