Was playing an online tourney the other day and at the final table the chipleader raised pf, was called by a small stack, two handed, the big stack bet at the flop and was called. On the turn, the ss had 10000 left, and the bs bet 6000. The ss rr all in. The pot was 47,000 and the bs folded needing to call just 4000...is there any way in hell he wasn't dumping?

I was the recipient of a play like this a few days ago. I wasn't getting dumped chips, but got accused of it. I have NO idea what he was thinking (my situation was even more ludicrous), but can say that it IS possible (however dumb it was) that there was no cheating going on. In my situation the other player refused to respond to questioning.

More likely was caught bluff/bullying and was too embarassed to show his hand.

One guy folded for 16 chips when the blinds were 1000/2000 and he was in the BB. Dunno wtf he was thinking. We weren't anywhere near the money yet

That's crazy, but I'm still a little suspicious just because that wasn't the only hand between those two.(There were two others that were fishy, just not that fishy)also, I didn't see him make another play that was even close to being that stupid when he was in apot with anyone else.

I once saw a FT where the blinds were 8/16K. The SB goes AI for 16431. BB folds.

Sometimes players just aren't aware. Sometimes they bluff and don't want to show OR know that they are drawing dead, so why put ANY more money in. A LOT of mistakes happen at any FT. People get nervous.

Yea, I saw a situation like this before too. 2/4nl at party, about a 1k pot. 1 player has 50 left, he checks to the othe rplay who bets 49, player with 50 pushes for 1 dollar more and the other one folds. Go figure.
