Hi Everyone:

We have made some changes and additions.

First off, there are now three new forums. They are:

Computer Technical Help,
Scienc, Math, and Philosophy, and
Sporting Events.

In addition, we now have a news page. Just clickl on Poker News at the top of the left hand column. (This will be followed by a tournament page in a few days.) The news page (and the tournament page) are brought to you with the support of "This is the Nuts."

Finally, Ed Miller will be taking a more active role in our organization. His first effort will be in improving our online magazine. He should not only make it look better, but hopefully we'll reduce those pesky type-os.

Ed will also be helping in the production of future books. This should allow us to do more books, and is good news for those of you who are potential Two Plus Two authors.

Best wishes,
Mason

PS: This will also be posted in our Magazine Forum.

Thanks, Mason. While there's so much stuff here now it's hard to keep up, the success of the site is well-deserved. And with Ed now helping out, things will get even better. He's a great writer, and great thinker, and a great guy.

Since Ed now has a more important place important position with this site and 2+2 in general, I'm thinking he should have his user name be in red.

It's an outrage that Ed's name doesn't appear in red. Let's get this fixed before Amnesty International gets involved.

Abusing Moderator priveleges will get me in trouble.

But, Ed Miller is red ...until Mat or Mason change it back.

I expect to be punished by Mason tomorrow night at the MGM GRand.

A most welcome and wise move in my opinion.

I wouldn't worry - I've played Mason and Ed - their powers are greatly weakened by the kryptonite of super drunk magoo poker.

although when we played in Feb, that wasn't really drunk magoo poker - no one could get drunk fast enough cause the waitress came by, like, once an hr. - MGM should be better.

Do we need to add a 'Kinky Sex Games' forum?

Nice additions and news Mason.
Good to hear of Ed's even more active involvement at 2+2.
Also glad that you are focused on making the magazine even stronger.

My suggestion FWIW -
I think the magazine needs to be more prominently displayed on the green bar or on the front-page or something.
I'm not exactly sure how to best do it... but it just looks too hidden with those little letters in the upper-left and I think a lot of people don't notice it.
You would have a better idea whether or not this is true since I assume you can look at how big the readership there is.
If the readership there is through the roof then just ignore what I said.

Also, I am assuming that all the general religion and philosophy threads will be out of the psych forum and I couldn't be happier about that.

nice moves Mason.
(uh-oh...yet another comment that belongs in the Kinky Sex-Games forum)

Indeed. We need a better forum title though. Geezer Wheezier Forum, The Viagra Forum, Old Guard Forum, You must be as old as Ray Zee to post here Forum, something along those lines. All youngsters will be excluded. Voyeurism would be allowed but they can't meddle in the affairs of the old folks. We need our sanctuary. The young bucks have infested and chewed away the foundation of 2+2 like a horde of termites and it is teetering on the brink of doom. Only the oldsters can save what’s left of its once mighty dignity. And I can’t believe I just said that. /images/graemlins/blush.gif

Ray Zee is too old, he might even be the oldest person who posts here. Make it simple. To qualify you would have to take an oath that you have actually owned one of the original Beatles albums in vinyl. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

The splash page is in dire need of updating.....this is a great idea. Your attention on the magazine should really improve the overall quality and presentation as well.

Congratulations Ed, certainly well deserved!

...running like moths to a candle

Moths to the flame.. its moths to the flame.

An unlit candle usually does not attract moths.

Funny, I look at it as when Mason posts, the cream of the crop usually respond /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

And moths seem more likely to fly to a flame than to run.
