You really shouldn't. There certainly is a chance he enjoys playing the game as much or more than you do. He just enjoys playing it a different way. Have you ever been to a Casino? Have you seen the hundreds of people playing -EV games non-stop? Do you feel sad for each one of these people?

I play -EV games from time to time....I generally thoroughly enjoy myself. In fact, I probably enjoy myself more than I am now, attempting to beat a game for a slim margin instead of doing whatever I feel like and losing a game for a slim margin.
