Gulfport? At the Copa?

It's a spread limit game. You can raise in increments of $1, 1-4 preflop and on the flop, 1-8 on the turn and river. It's (I think) capped at four bets. The blinds are usually 1 and 2 dollars.

Yeah what the other guy said. Its spread limit, my first ever casino poker game was actually this game at the Grand Casino in Gulfport.

As far as strategy goes, just bet the max all the time. The 1-2 blinds force you to often have to let go of a hand if you limp and get raised unlike a normal structure so you need to be a bit tighter up front, but can loosen up a ton from LP or the SB if its limped to you. Post flop is going to play just like 4/8 most of the time, but sometimes people won't bet the max for whatever reason which you can use to your advantage if drawing. Also remember if there was no raise preflop, the pot will be smaller than normal so you odds will often be shorter than you are used to; make sure to account for this when deciding to draw.
