Posted solely for amusement <grin>.

(BTW, Bisonbison, when I copied this hand to the converter directly from the Poker Room hand summary, the program just spun its wheels, so I used your format and converted it manually.)

Poker Room
Texas Hold'em $2-$4 (10 handed),

PRE-FLOP
Hero is UTG with AcKd
Hero raises, 1 fold, UTG+2 calls, 2 folds, MP3 calls, 2 folds, SB calls, BB folds.

FLOP (9SB) 3C,JC,KC (4 players)
SB bets, Hero raises, UTG+2 3bets, MP3 bets $7 and is all-in, SB folds, Hero calls, UTG+2 calls.

(Great flop for me! I have TPTK and 9 outs to the nuts flush. Impossible at this point to tell what my opponents may have since throughout this session all 3 have been VPIP>50% and very aggressive with most hands they enter.)

TURN (10.25BB) 9C (3 players, 1 all-in)
Hero checks, UTG+2 bets, Hero raises, UTG+2 calls.

(Looking like this one is might be in the bag.)

RIVER (14.25BB) 6H (3 players, 1 all-in)
Hero bets, UTG+2 calls.

SHOWDOWN (15.5BB after rake)
Hero shows AC,KD
UTG+2 shows 7C,7D
MP3 shows QC,10C

SUMMARY
Pot: $65, (including rake: $3)
SB loses $6
BB loses $2
Hero bets $23, collects $23, net $0
UTG+2 loses $23
MP3 bets $11, collects $39, net $28

(Sometimes calling stations stumble into absolutely marvellous hands!! I was happy as a clam to come out even on that one.)

Odd, I had the a similar thing happen to me tonight. Someone merely calling my river bet with the nuts.

Bodog 1/2 6 max

I am dealt K /images/graemlins/diamond.gif Q /images/graemlins/club.gif UTG and raise (remember, 6 max is like entering the pot unraised from MP1 where you're UTG).

Everyone folds to BB who calls.

Flop comes A /images/graemlins/diamond.gif 2 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif 4 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif

She leads out. I raise. She 3-bets. I call.

Turn comes 3 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif

I have the nut flush /images/graemlins/smile.gif

She checks. I bet. She calls.

River K /images/graemlins/club.gif

I bet. She calls.

Then I watch as the pot goes in the wrong direction. She had a A /images/graemlins/club.gif 5 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif for the straight flush. no I didn't have the "nut" flush after all did I /images/graemlins/frown.gif

Thanks for reducing the signal to noise ratio on the forums. We really appreciate it. Stop back soon.

What added to the amusement was that the player didn't even seem to know why he got so much money back when I obviously had the Ace. The straight flush had to be pointed out to him.

Anyway, I got it all back and then some in the next few rounds.
