Gentlemen,
I have a question for you that I'm struggling to find the answer to. I am a fairly decent SNG player. I don't find the self deprecating humour particularly funny, so I won't say that I suck. My ROI and ITM are both above average for the limits I play.
My question is this...How does a player get from an "autopilot" poker player to a player that has evolved into more of a thinking player?
In other words, there is a BIG difference between perfoming an action and understanding why you are performing the action. Is this just a process of evolving and experience, or can you study the concepts necessary somehow?
I'm curious as to what ya'll think.
