Today I held $10,000 in my hand for the first time. It felt somewhat cool, but not nearly as cool as I thought it was going to feel.
I think the best way to do this would be with crisp $5's bundled neatly in a suitcase. The top bill of each bundle should be a $100 bill.

Holding $10,000 worth of a cotton/paper blend isn't nearly as cool as getting $10,000 worth of stuff.

That's because you are desensitized from playing with so much money. Try living for a month as a person that has to go through couch cushions to get change for a Big Mac. Then hold the 10 grand. It will feel a whole lot different.

I got the call. There was the juiciest 100-200 game in history at a nearby casino, and it's midnight. I lived with a friend of mine from college at the time, and she knew I played poker. But I was usually home at midnight.
So when I said I had to head out to play, she was confused as to why. I explained it to her, and for the first time, I showed her what $10,000 in cash looked like. She still talks about what it was like to feel $10K, and this was over a year ago.

But for $10,000, it would be about 6 Kias.

But it's 6 times better!
Of course, 6 x 0 still = 0 /images/graemlins/frown.gif
does holding $10k worth of chips you've won feel like holding the $10k brick?
I've held the latter working as a bank teller in college. Nothing special about it when its not yours... /images/graemlins/frown.gif

I signed a $57 million check once for the Company I worked for...that felt semi-cool. Held a whole lot more than 10k the night of my wedding (italian weddings rule).

Heck, he could become a Royal Flush member of the $100 Pants Club.
Is this cash?
I've held some pretty hefty cheques before and it felt nice, but not amazing.
