All-in post flop

I know that you want to avoid going all-in post flop during MTT’s except in certain situations (example: short stacked with top pair and a decent kicker), but is the play ok for SnG’s post flop if you have a hand such as top pair or two pair?

When you have a strong hand, you want to be calling the all-in. Don't flop a big hand and go "omg I have a monster POOOOOSH!!" The best you can do is bet for value, and hope your opponent has a piece or wants to push you off your hand.
