Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t15 (9 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

UTG (t910)
UTG+1 (t835)
MP1 (t880)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with J/images/graemlins/heart.gif, J/images/graemlins/spade.gif.
1 fold, UTG+1 calls t15, MP1 calls t15, Hero raises to t65, 1 fold, CO calls t65, Button calls t65, SB calls t55, BB calls t50, UTG+1 calls t50, MP1 calls t50.

First level of tournament, pretty loose table. Button is solid, BB calls with everything.

Flop: (t452.50) 4/images/graemlins/heart.gif, A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, J/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (7 players)

4 checks, Hero bets 350, CO folds, Button raises all-in, SB calls all-in, BB calls all-in, 2 folds, I call all-in.

I figure I'm getting good odds to turn a boat, and mabye end up with a dominating stack. I also figure that I am ahead at this point.

Good play? Just got HoH, so I'll spend the next few days reading.

I raise slightly more preflop. Otherwise your play is perfect.

you don't need odds to turn a boat. you have your 20 opponents drawing to 9 outs, some of which are quite easily shared between them. good hand.

I call this almost without hesitation, and expect to see a flush draw or two, an AJ, and maybe a set of 4s or KK-QQ. Of course it's possible that one of them is holding the only hand that beats you, but you can multiply your stack by 4 here, and I wouldn't be so scared of rockets as to pass that up.

nothing to see here, carry on. Seriously, your play was fine. If AA is hiding under the bed, it will happen this time but not the next X times.

goint to reply to myself here, you lare laying ~2.3-1 odds with your flop bet, a flush draw is at 1.8 or so, so he should be folding, but a call (especially w/ the K suited) is not totally out of hand, maybe fore at the flop a little more to chase out the draw--that being said, personally unless I'm drawing to the K nut flush I'm gone anyway
