I find myself in this position all the time. What's the best way to play it? Do I just give up the chips from my raise, smooth call and play after the flop, or shove in?

Party $22, like 6 or 7 hands in, so no reads.

PUSHHHHHH. you fear 4 hands. when you oust him, laugh your ass off and call him a dumb ass 2+2'er.

Fine play so far and I think you just fold now absent a read.

You're essentially playing for his stack so you could make a very thin call here, but I wouldn't do that in an 800 chip tourney.

Calling seems like the worst option to me. I can fold and be in decent shape, or push over the top.

I don't think he folds ever (though I've seen it before), but his reraise generally means like AK, some suited ace, or any pair. I'm ahead of all but four pairs, and in really good shape against most other hands he might hold.

I need to figure out a general way to play this, cause I seriously come across it a couple times every day. I know I figure to win most of the hands in the long run if I push. Folding lets me stay alive, but I don't know if it's better for me to try to win the chips on later hands, or risk busting/getting crippled right there.

If you think the reraise is often anything 99 and down and he will call a push, this is an autopush. I assumed the bluffs wouldn't, but it's been a while since I've played those.
